Angels of the Sea

See through our eyes the beautiful Isles,
Bespeckled with kisses of violet and gold,
Swathed in a sapphire of ocean and sky,
Adorned with clusters of citrine and tourmaline gorse.
See the hill, the vale with hazy glaze
Of mallow and moss, laced with slivers of silver and grey,
Dancing their way
Into glittering pools of mercury.
Hear through our ears the pounding of waves
Upon hard mottled rocks, lovingly wrapped
In strong seaweed ribbons of affection.
Hear and heed the sigh of the sea, whispering waters,
Sharing their secrets of times long ago,
Of fortune and foe
As they slowly caress the shore, touching each grain of sand
With their salty lips of perfection.
Feel through our fingers the smooth of the pebbles,
Painted in delicate shades of crystallized pink
And peppermint green.
Feel the warmth of the land and the cool of the breeze,
The awakening touch of one to the other,
Of lover to loved, of sun to sand, of moon to water.
Know through our heart the feeling of oneness,
The joy of encompassing all within self,
A celestial song of seeing, of hearing, of feeling,
Of knowing, of loving … of loving … of loving …
… Love through Her love, Oh child of the earth,
And all shall be yours.
